Motorola introduced the state-owned Moto G9 Play in the European market
Motorola has expanded the list of available devices with the Moto G9 Play.
Almost a month ago, Motorola unveiled the Moto G9 Play in India as a more affordable variant of the Moto G9 smartphone. Now the device is finally entering the European market. The Moto G9 Play is an option for those looking for a budget device from a well-known brand with competitive specifications and a relatively low price tag.
If you are familiar with the technical specifications of the Moto G9, then the Moto G9 Play is for you. will not see. Under the hood, the smartphone hides a Snapdragon 662 chipset. The Moto G9 Play is paired with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage in the older version. You can further expand your storage with a microSD card.
The device will delight you with a large 6.5-inch IPS-display with HD + resolution. The screen has a drop-shaped cutout for the front camera, the bezels around the display are rather thick, but this is what we expected. The front camera has a resolution of 8 megapixels.
Behind, we can already note the presence of the main camera unit, consisting of three modules: the main one with 48 megapixels and two additional 2 megapixels each: one for measuring the depth of field, the second is for macro photography. Also, the smartphone has a fingerprint scanner, which is once again hidden behind the Motorola logo.
One of the main advantages of the device is its capacious 5000 mAh battery, complete with a 20 W fast charge. I am glad that the manufacturer has provided the G9 Play with a USB-C port. Other features include Bluetooth 5.1, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, NFC chip, and 3.5mm headphone jack. The smartphone will run Android 10 out of the box.
UK users can purchase the Moto G9 Play now. The smartphone is already available on Amazon UK and Motorola. The device is priced at 169 euros across Europe, but in the UK it can be snatched for 160 euros.
