JBL has updated the popular portable speaker Flip and made it more expensive
JBL has announced an update to its popular Flip range of portable outdoor speakers.
The new model of the series, named Flip 6, received IP67 dust and moisture protection, while its predecessor was protected only from moisture and corresponded to IPX7.
The novelty retains the continuity of the design of its predecessors. The newly redesigned JBL logo flaunts on the body of the device, which emphasizes the speaker’s belonging to the updated model range of the company. In terms of technical innovations, the JBL Flip 6 received support for Bluetooth 5.1, while the Flip 5 uses Bluetooth 5.0 to connect with other devices. The battery life has remained unchanged at around 12 hours. The total audio output power of 20 W. remains the same.
Another change in the Flip 6 compared to the previous model, although not the most pleasant thing will be its cost. The speaker will go on sale in November for $ 130, while the Flip 5 can be purchased for $ 120.
